So to start this off, I am aware that this isn’t the best place to talk about this, but I am just genuinely curious about what you guys think. So I was originally on hims topical fin and min for about a month, stopped, and switched to their oral version because I found it much easier to keep my routine. I started oral version the first day of May, so it’s been about 3 weeks. The last few days, I have noticed some slight swelling and a lot of sensitivity in my left peck area. My right side is unaffected. I didn’t take my pills last night, and I woke up, and it seems the swelling might have gone down, and the sensitivity seems to have gone down as well. Was this maybe all in my head, or should I be concerned? These have been the only symptoms I have possibly gotten.
It’s possible you experienced a mild side effect from the oral fin. Gynecomastia can cause swelling and sensitivity, but it often stabilizes. Since the symptoms lessened, it might not be serious, but keep an eye on it. If it gets worse, you may want to reassess your treatment plan. Check out Learn for more info.
Should I maybe consider taking some time off from it to see if it gets better, or continue taking it and monitor it? I would like to keep taking it, but I won’t lie, the super sensitive nipples are very annoying.
You’ll need to make that decision for yourself, but most of these problems resolve themselves within a few months
I appreciate the answers back. This has really bothered me today. I think I am going to continue taking it, and if it gets any worse over the next few weeks, I will just stop taking it altogether and maybe consider topical again.
