Allergic to min, whats your advice on considering fin at age 20?

my hairline is “matured” with thin surrounding areas, but based on my family, where every male is bald from both sides, its almost certain that it is MPB. if you do recommend taking fin now, should it be topical, oral, what dosage?

I’ve already went to a GP at early 19 and he said no due to my age but i really want to address the balding now before its too late. if i had min as an option it would’ve carried me till a more suitable age for fin, but from both foam and liquid forms my face itches, and my ears produce tiny red bumps that flake kind of.

Any advice at all is appreciated.

If you’re considering fin at 20 and allergic to min, oral fin at 1 mg daily is standard. Topical fin is an alternative but less proven. Fin works by reducing DHT levels, addressing the root cause of AGA. Keep an eye on any side effects and consider integration with ketoconazole shampoo to further help with hair maintenance. thanks Henryk for that information. by lowering the dose of oral fin and perhaps even frequency of consumption, can this lessen the chances of side effects from fin, as im administering the medication gradually? - feasible as there is no great urgency and therefore have time to respond to the AGA.

yes, lower dose and frequency will lower efficacy and potential side effects
