Hey guys. My hairline is receiding and I’m also diffuse thinning, I’ve started taking fin about 6 months ago and I don’t know if it’ll work for me. I’ve been taking 1mg oral fin every single day for the past six months and I keep shedding quite of lot of miniaturized hairs. Though I’ve got long hair and only wash and brush them every 3 days I’m wondering if the treatment is / will be working on me. Sometimes I shed like 10 to 20 hairs when I take a shower and sometimes I lose 100+ hairs after applying conditioner. I’m running low on my fin stash and I’m seeing my doctor on Friday to get my prescription renewed, should I ask him for dut? Should I keep taking fin until I hit the 1 year mark? Also I live in France and idk if doctors can / are willing to prescribe dut if you have any info on that because I couldn’t find anything online. hey, fin usually takes more than 6 months to show solid results, often closer to a year. if you’re seeing a lot of shedding, that could still be a part of the process, but if you’re worried, bringing up dut with your doc isn’t a bad idea. dut is more potent, and some docs in France might prescribe it. maybe stick with fin a bit longer till the year mark before switching, since you’re not sure if it’s working yet.
