31M - Finally starting treatment after years of neglect. Need Help in reviewing my routine

Hey everyone,

31M here from India. I’ve been losing hair since around 2017. Honestly didn’t care much back then - partly laziness, partly just overwhelmed by all the conflicting info and fear of cost (A really stupid reason in hindsight. Wouldn’t have cost me more than $20-30 USD a month). Now I feel like it might be too late, but I want to give this an honest shot before accepting defeat.

I am okay with PRP but Hair Transplant is a big No. For some reason, I have never been truly comfortable with any cosmetic surgery. Also I am even insecure about being insecure and getting a hair transplant makes it obvious I am extremely insecure about my hair.

Here’s my current hairline. It is right after shower.

I work from home, so I have plenty of time to follow a routine. Also found out I’m deficient in Vitamin D and B12.

Here’s what I have on hand right now:

I have both Extend & FolliHair Tablets. It seems Extend Hair Tablets and FolliHair tablets do the same job and I can remove Extend Hair Tablets.

Based on the chat with Tressless ChatGPT, Gemini and some previous online consultation, this is the schedule I have come up:

Pls review this and suggest me if I need to make any changes, improvements in this?

Is oral Min better?

Is there even decent hope of regaining hair?

I am okay with any side effects as long as they are temporary. I have heard that I can switch off Fin once there is enough growth and stick to Min 5%.

Thanks for any insight you all can share.

you’ve got a solid regimen going. oral fin can help tackle DHT, while topical min aids in promoting follicle growth. microneedling once a week is good. oral min is an option, but weigh the side effects first. staying consistent is key, and for switching serums, Redensyl can be beneficial but isn’t yet a min-like powerhouse. if you’re getting results with fin, cutting it after some growth could risk maintenance. check out the The Beginner’s Guide for more insights.

Hi, thanks for your input. I did check out that guide and was useful in making my routine. Can you clarify following?

  1. What if I switch to topical vs oral fin after sometime once there is significant growth? Morr F 5% if a Min and Fin Lipid Solution.

  2. Is Dutasteride more effective than Fin with similar side effects? I am thinking if the risk is similar but also more effective, maybe I can switch it up?

  3. Are side effects generally temporary (I know exceptions will exist) but at least if in general they are temporary, that would be great.

Wow that’s amazing. Honestly I’m surprised you get so much meds in India as I haven’t seen much people caring for hair loss.

Are those the brand names? I would like to purchase too
