Hey everyone,
31M here from India. I’ve been losing hair since around 2017. Honestly didn’t care much back then - partly laziness, partly just overwhelmed by all the conflicting info and fear of cost (A really stupid reason in hindsight. Wouldn’t have cost me more than $20-30 USD a month). Now I feel like it might be too late, but I want to give this an honest shot before accepting defeat.
I am okay with PRP but Hair Transplant is a big No. For some reason, I have never been truly comfortable with any cosmetic surgery. Also I am even insecure about being insecure and getting a hair transplant makes it obvious I am extremely insecure about my hair.
Here’s my current hairline. It is right after shower.
I work from home, so I have plenty of time to follow a routine. Also found out I’m deficient in Vitamin D and B12.
Here’s what I have on hand right now:
-
Finabald (Finasteride 1mg daily Morning)
-
Morr F 5% Minoxidil topical (Once every evening) - Minoxidil (5% w/v) + Finasteride (0.1% w/v)
-
Ketomac Ketoconazole shampoo (Mon/Wed/Fri)
-
Man Matters DHT-blocking shampoo (other days)
-
Dermastamp 1.5mm (planning once weekly) - Is doing twice a week more beneficial?
-
Redensyyl serum (Minimalist blend) - I already have a Cuticapil Serum and wondering if replacing with Redensyyl would be better.
-
Supplements:
- Uprise D3 60K for Vitamin D
- Meganuron OD+ for Vitamin B12
- FolliHair for Biotin, Vitamins & Minerals
I have both Extend & FolliHair Tablets. It seems Extend Hair Tablets and FolliHair tablets do the same job and I can remove Extend Hair Tablets.
Based on the chat with Tressless ChatGPT, Gemini and some previous online consultation, this is the schedule I have come up:
Pls review this and suggest me if I need to make any changes, improvements in this?
Is oral Min better?
Is there even decent hope of regaining hair?
I am okay with any side effects as long as they are temporary. I have heard that I can switch off Fin once there is enough growth and stick to Min 5%.
Thanks for any insight you all can share.
