30M Using Rosemary Oil, Starting Microneedling – Frequency and Combination Advice Needed

30 yo, not really starting to go bald but hair starting to be weaker than before.

I started using rosemary oil for like on average 3-4 times a week. I work from home so as long as I don’t have to go out i do it.

I’ve seen that micro needling can be a big improvement so i bought Korabeauticals pen.

My questions:

  • once a week (no often) is ok? What about one a month?

  • how do i combine with rosemary oil? My guess would be while there are wounds or healing to not put oil?

two words:finasteride+minoxidil. always consult with a doctor first before using either or both. your questions are like kindergarten level, you have no understanding of the situation. dermarolling/stamping-microneedling etc. is useless without the first two. Yes dermarolling etc. gives results without minoxidil per some anecdotal experiences and maybe some limited studies but DHT is what causes hair follicles to thin out, miniaturize etc. Finasteride blocks the enzyme that gives birth to DHT and minoxidil regrows what you had lost. rosemary oil is most of the time bs. you mention that you work from home, for somebody working from home and likely online it is strange that you have very bad understanding of hair loss, as you probably have access to plenty of resources where you can learn this stuff at least at a basic level. you may hate the way I speak but if you notice hair loss rn and your father/grandfathers, uncle etc. is/are bald you will go bald too and whatever you do here won’t have much effect in all honesty.

thanks for your reply.

seems like a medic recommended it, not like a “do this and you’ll have the hair of a 15yo” but like “it may at least postpone hair loss”, at least from my understanding.

Problem with microneedling is it can cause scars in the long run so it can be dangerous, I wouldn’t do it. It’s literally safer to take finasteride/dutasteride/minoxidil
