Hi so for about 3 month I’ve been on fin 0.5mg eod for the fear of sides and have been using minoxidil twice a day on my head for the same length of time. I used minoxidil in the past for about 1 year and came off for about 2 , should I see any progress at this stage? At the moment I’ve not seen an increase in hairs or thickness
three months is still early for seeing results with min and fin. it can take 6-12 months to see significant changes. fin works as a DHT blocker, while min is more like a fertilizer. keep going if you’re not experiencing any sides. 0.5mg every other day might be a bit slower to show results. if nothing improves in a few more months, consider discussing daily dosing.
