Hello to everyone in this amazing community.
About 2 years ago I started thinning heavily on one side of the temple and a bit on the other as well as the crown.
After reading up and trusting a good friend I hopped on 2.5mg oral Minoxidil daily and 1mg of Finasteride every other day. (skipping the weekend).
The results were amazing and my hair has been restored to how it was before any thinning ever happened.
Here is the thing though. This friend about 2 1/2 months ago read about Post Finasteride Syndrome and scared me into stopping Fin. I never ever had any side effects.
It’s been about 3 months since I stopped Fin and my hair still looks great. I’m only taking the minoxidil now.
What will happen? Should I expect a massive shed?
Should I hop back on Fin?
Should I wait to see any shedding?
Will getting bloodwork make things clearer? If yes what should I ask for?
