I am a 29-year-old male diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia. I have been taking dutasteride 0.5 mg daily and oral minoxidil 5 mg daily for about 1.5 years.
The treatment worked very well. My hair shedding became almost nonexistent, and my hair density improved.
However, about a month ago, I started experiencing increased hair shedding again. Before that, I would usually lose only one to five hairs on my hand during each shower. Now, I consistently lose more than 15 hairs every time I shower, and this has been happening for almost a month.
It’s normal?
