I am a 28M who has Norwood in the family. The reaper got both my father and grandpa while they were fairly young. Pictures are of wet hair then two at the end of dry hair.
Currently I have my first child on the way with my wife, due in May. I wanted to wait until after our third pregnancy, hopefully within the next 4 years, to begin oral fin/minoxidil due to fertility concerns. I want to keep my hair but care 1000% more about good sperm for the next two pregnancies.
All of that to be said, I am worried if I wait another 4 years I would have lost a lot of coverage that I currently have. I noticed thinning hair about 3 years ago but I began shedding a lot more the last few months. Feel like I need to do something quicker than waiting 4 years. I was debating starting oral minoxidil now to at least do something, then take finasteride once the third child is born.
Open to opinions and ideas, and I know my thinning isn’t terrible, but it is the worst it has ever been and I want to do something before it’s too late. I got a big fat pale head. I cannot let that thing see sunlight.
