27M on Finasteride/Minoxidil 8-9 Months, Considering Dutasteride for Hair Loss

I have been on the “Hims” finasteride 1.2mg/3mg minoxidil since around early December last year. Its been 8-9 months and hair loss has continued to stay and hasn’t gotten any slower. I came off testosterone because i thought the high DHT conversion was the issue. It didn’t help and i still have hair loss. Is it time for something stronger like Dutasteride 1mg a day and topical minoxidil? Also please don’t fear monger about sides. I have already fully committed to taking Fin/Minoxidil. Need any advice. Thanks tressless community!

if fin isn’t doing enough for you, going to dut can be a good option since it hits more types of 5-ar enzymes. it’s more potent and some respond better to it. adding topical min can also help and might have fewer side effects. remember, hair regrowth can take up to a year, so hang in there. check the product finder for options.
