26M with Bald Spot Behind Head, Seeking Regrowth Advice - No Treatment History

I’m devastated.

I have always had complexes because I have a large receding hairline at the front, but I thought I had plenty of hair at the back and that there was nothing to worry about. Yesterday I just realized that I’m going bald at the back, and honestly, I’m extremely depressed right now.

Is there any way to make the hair grow back in that area? Or am I already doomed to be bald?

Btw, Im 26 years old. I took these photos with flash at night. Furthermore, due to mental health issues, I spent a lot of time (over 10 years) without taking care of or washing my hair. I am currently not undergoing any treatment.

you’re not doomed. Starting treatment could definitely help. Min could improve blood flow and promote growth, while fin can reduce DHT and slow hair loss. Since you haven’t started any treatment yet, these could be good first steps. Check out The Beginner’s Guide for more info. Also, proper hair care can help maintain scalp health.
