26M Seeking Advice on Crown Hair Regrowth After 5 Years of Neglect Due to Mental Health Issues

I’m going to give a little context, because my situation is not common. Due to mental health issues, I have spent the last 5 years in isolation and without going out from home. In addition to that, for the last 7 years, I have had a very poor diet and I have hardly been able to wash my hair, so my hair has gone several years without being cared for or washed.

A few days ago, I decided to take a picture of the back of my head (at the crown), and to my horror, I saw that I was going bald. My question is, am I still in time to recover my hair and to make hair grow back in this area without hair transplant?

Btw, Im 26 years old and these photos have been taked with flash light.

looks like you might have some hair thinning at the crown, which can be due to AGA or other factors like stress or diet. improving your diet and regular hair washing could help. consider trying min to stimulate growth, and fin to lower DHT if AGA is the issue. check out the Beginner’s Guide for more treatment options.
