24 yo from Istanbul. Hair loss for 3–4 years. Used minoxidil but didn’t see results, recently started topical finasteride. Shedding has accelerated in the last 6 months and I’m very discouraged. What should I expect? Open to advice

hey, it’s normal for shedding to occur when you start a new treatment like topical fin. this might just be your hair cycle resetting. it often takes several months, up to a year, to see noticeable results. keep using the topical fin consistently, and you might consider adding oral min if you didn’t respond well to topical min. check out the beginner’s guide for more info on treatments.
