Hello everyone. I’ve been researching this topic before starting and this community comes up a lot so I thought I’d reach out here.
I got topical Fin and Min. The Finasteride is quite a high dosage from what I understand, 2.275mg/mL. I want to use it, but avoid the risk of side effects.
From the research I’ve done and what I understand so far, topical fin does go systemic and 1mL of the solution I have would equate to 2.275mg of fin on my scalp, which would likely have similar effects on body DHT levels as 1mg of oral fin.
One way to avoid this risk is to only apply 0.1/0.2 mL of the solution I have which will give me a dosage of 0.2/0.4mg of fin. Which, according to this article gives good results while avoiding sides.
What are your thoughts on this? Is this a good way to approach this?

The topical finasteride I have is Finjuve. I am 23 now, my hairloss started at 19, currently, my hairline has receeded a bit but not too bad. I have significant thinning at the top of my head and my crown area seems to be the most hit as it is almost gone.
