Hi, I’m 21 and my hairline has been slowly receding since my teens, but over the past year my hair loss has gotten noticeably faster.
I’m not taking any treatment right now. I’ve been looking into finasteride, topical/oral minoxidil and other options, but I’m pretty confused about what I should actually start with.
I’m especially concerned about potential side effects, particularly with finasteride and oral minoxidil. I obviously want to save my hair, but I don’t want to take unnecessary risks either.
Based on the pictures, what would you recommend? What treatment would you start with in my situation, considering both effectiveness and side effects?
