I’ve (21 M) decided to treat my slow but certain hair thinning/loss case.So, i used 1mg of finasteride since march, and basically there is still no results. While thinking about it, i paid attention to few little pimples on my scalp, and the fact that it sometimes slightly burns for a little time, especially after i scratched some parts of scalp. Can this be fungus, that is a reason why finasteride does not work/hair loss keeps happening? How do you usually treat this type of fungus?
Go see a proper dermatologist and if possible get a scalp biopsy done. Steer away from trichologists. You may need dutasteride if you have AGA and IF fin is not cutting it.
