Im 21 male, Ive been on oral min for about 1.5 years, don’t actually know if its doing anything, i reacted very badly to oral fin, shall i try topical fin? Or is RU a better shout?, oral fin made my hair very thick and great but the side effects didn’t make it worth it (sexual and severe mental sides), i’m only loosing the front, but my scalp shows alot more now, my crown is fine, just trying to ask if theres a good ‘standard’ routine people follow who struggle with the same issues as i do, people talk about peptides and RU, dermarolling and all these other things but, theres limited info.
Topical fin is worth a shot since it usually has fewer side effects than oral fin. RU58841 is an option, but it’s not as well-studied, so keep that in mind. Also, try ketoconazole shampoo and microneedling, they can help too. Check out The Beginner’s Guide for more ideas on your routine.
Bought some RU to give it a try (called mettle maine on amazon, hoping its good) heard people start with a half dose for the first 2 weeks, as you can see i keep my hair fairly long, so do you know if its worth mixing it with another carrier oil or something, if you don’t know its okay, ill figure something out.
cheers
Tommy
Not sure on altering the carrier, what would be the reason to do that?
To dilute it, its already a liquid, but if its 5% and people suggest using half a dose for the first two weeks, is it worth mixing another carrier oil to apply it to my scalp, because half a dose of the normal liquid wouldn’t cover my whole scalp.
