Hi everyone, I’m 20 years old and over the last few years I’ve noticed my hairline going backward, later I even saw that I can see patches from top view. I’ve attached some recent pictures taken under indoor lighting.
Current routine: For 15 days, I used minoxidil 2% and later upgraded it to 5% under the Doctor’s recommendation, and it’s been 15 days more.
Could you please help me understand:
• What Norwood stage or pattern does this look like?
• Does it seem like androgenetic alopecia or something else?
• What treatments or next steps would you recommend at this age? Please help. Thanks so much for your time
You could be dealing with AGA, which is common at your age. Minoxidil 5% is a good starting point, but adding fin might help more as it tackles DHT, the cause of thinning. Keep using min and consider incorporating fin for better results over time. Also, consider ketoconazole shampoo if you have any scalp issues. Check out the Beginner’s Guide for more detailed info on treatments.

Thanks a lot brother
I wanted to ask – would it be better to buy minoxidil and finasteride separately or get a combined minoxidil + finasteride solution for better results.
