19M with Receding Hairline: Start Minoxidil Before Finasteride or Dutasteride?

Minox first before fin prescription?

So I’m starting to see that my hairline is receding but I have no clue about my crown but it doesn’t seem like it and I want to combat this as fast as possible without it actually starting to show. And I’m 19 btw

So first ik there is minoxidil that’s like a shampoo/foam that I can easily buy and im waiting to see a doctors (btw which doctor should I see, a dermatologist or my regular physician?) whether I can use dinastride or finasteride off their recommendation along with it.

My question is can I basically start using just Minoxidil shampoo by itself until the doctor gives me the ok for dinastride or finasteride in which I can use both at the same time to make it more effective

yeah, starting with min is a good move. it’s accessible and can help with hair growth. once you chat with a doctor, you can add fin or dut for reducing DHT. using both can be more effective. check out The Beginner’s Guide for more info.
