I’m 19 and a NW 2 to 2.5, and my dermatologist suggested low dose sublingual minoxodil. I’ve been taking it a few days with no side effects. However, I’m extremely skeptical of the possible side effects of sublingual/oral minoxodil, and if I’m not mistaken, my hair is still being affected by DHT. Is this really the way to go?
Hey, if you’re only using sublingual min, it’s not tackling DHT, which is the main trigger for AGA. Min helps with hair growth but doesn’t block DHT like fin does. You might wanna look into adding fin or even topical solutions. Check out The Beginner’s Guide for more on treatment options.
