honestly making me so fucking suicidal and stressed. i have avodart dutasteride and ive been using that at 2.5 mg daily along for about a month now along with microneedling 1 mmonce weekly and topical fin every night.
is there any chance i can regrow temples or atleast maintain this? i did catch it “early” given it’s been the last 6 mon but its still so fucking stressful
this was my hairline about 6 months ago. i’ve never had a perfect nw0, it’s always look similar to this, uneven hairline / big forehead
hey, you’re doing a good mix of treatments with dut, min, and microneedling. it’s still early, so give it some time—up to a year for results. your density on top is a good sign too. stick with it and you might see those temples holding up. if you get any side effects, consider switching to topicals.
i apply it topically on my temples. i was thinking of doing the same with RU.
im medically hypogandal, meaning i don’t produce testosterone naturally. i have to inject testosterone. this is both a blessing and a curse, as my testosterone levels do not really fluctuate on an environmental basis but it means my scalp will be hit with more at “once” versus lower consistent levels, which i hypothesize is one of the main reasons for my losses. although i could be mistaken, it’s just a theory. either way im obviously pre dispositioned to it,
ru would be to mitigate any remaining dht on the temples and potential testosterone induced hair loss. i dont seem to have bad loss anywhere else as of right now.
but thank you for saying my hair looks thick, i think some of the reason it also looks slightly more recessed is thinning from isotret, with teg thinning the temples a bit more (there’s still a decent amount of hairs at my temples and thinned locations, just much much less density) i was hoping with ru + derma rolling + top min it would mitigate dht and teg losses
