18M: Thinning at 17, Hair Loss Concern on Back and Sides, Inflammation Question

im 18,noticed hair thinning at 17,started fin 5 months ago,and didnt really see difference, but hair shedding stopped, when it started i shed a lot.For all this time i thought im dpa,but yesterday i noticed that my back and sides a little thin too,not as much as my top or crown, but a little, and my hair wasnt sheddin there back then.So i just shaved my head to see clearly what type of hairloss i have, and i noticed inflammations,is there a chance that inflamations caused hair thinnin on sides,or any hair thinninh overall. But im pretty sure i have mpb, family history filled with young bald people, and i had beard since 14

Based on your description and photos, it sounds like you’re experiencing some diffuse thinning. This could relate to diffuse pattern alopecia or other scalp conditions causing inflammation. Since you mentioned inflammation, it might be worth looking into seborrheic dermatitis as a contributing factor. Try using ketoconazole shampoo or cream, and consider CBD with MCT oil for inflammation. Keep an eye on your progress with fin and consider discussing with a dermatologist if unsure.
