18M: Side Effects After 3 Months on Topical Finasteride

I’m 18.. I been 3 MONTHS ON TOPICAL FINASTERIDE, now experiencing delayed ejaculation..

What should I do?

I’ve already been on topical minoxidil for more than a year but I noticed my hair starting to thin like crazy lately so I hopped on topical Finasteride for it’s lower chances of side effects compared to the oral version. It’s now been 3 months and a week and in the last week I’ve been experiencing lower sex drive, and today experienced delayed ejaculation. Do continue topical Finasteride and see if my body adjusts

It’s not uncommon to experience side effects with topical fin, though they’re usually less intense than oral. Your body might adjust, but if these effects continue, you might want to consider modifying your treatment. Switching back to min or adjusting your fin usage is an option. thanks for your reply henry. is it a good plan to continue with a very slightly lower dosage for another month to monitor if the side effects go away or get worse? if not then what’s a good time period to make a decision of whether do continue or not?

You could try a lower dose, yeah. Most of these things go away on their own, but listen to your body
