15M with Right Temple Norwood 3, Seeking Meds Before Dermatologist Visit

my hairloss prob started when I was like 10-11 years old,and now I have to deal with realy weird pattern.

when I was 10,my right temple started to get bigger and bigger,while my left one was the same for like 3 whole years.

Today my right temple is like norwood 3 with sideburn receded close to my ear,while my left temple looks like mature hairline.

I just realy hate it bc when im checking my hairline after taking a shower it just looks like im half balding and half maturing,which sucks.

im going to Dermatologist next week,and is there any kind of med I could already use to stop/slow down hairloss,bc this is realy making me mad bc everyone my age have straight hairline,and maybe some have mature look just like my left temple,but bc of my right temple I look like an old man.

(and yea Im mostlikely need to get HT bc I dont think even with meds im gonna be able to restore my right temple)

Hey, sounds like you’ve got some early AGA going on, especially with one side receding. You might want to consider trying fin or dut to reduce hormone effects, plus min to boost growth. Might not fully balance things out, but it can slow further loss. Check The Beginner’s Guide for more. Keep in mind, meds won’t regrow all hair but can help maintain what you have. A hair transplant could be something to think about down the line after stabilizing it.
