I have been using Morr F 5% (minoxidil + finasteride) topical solution, 1 ml once daily, for the past 3 months. Before that, I was using another brand with the same composition.
I can see some baby hairs in the frontal region, but they have been present for a while and are not thickening or growing into mature hairs. I also don’t notice any visible regrowth in the crown area. In the december picture the density looks even worse than november.
Does this mean I am a non-responder, or should I wait longer before making any decisions?
refer to a doctor and proceed with oral finasteride or even oral dutasteride plus topical minoxidil with tretinoin if doctor tells you to go for it, don’t go on them yourself alone. you may stack dutasteride (oral) 2x-3x week or EOD, if you still want to take finasteride. and yes oral in general is better for finasteride. topical finasteride may reduce scalp DHT more but what matters is the intrafollicular DHT, not the scalp DHT. Intrafollicular DHT reduction of dut is equal to serum reduction of dut, for fin I don’t remember it but I presume that it is indeed similar if not the same. 10 months may not be enough for finasteride to show its full effects but who cares, go for the strongest but reasonably safe option nevertheless
