Seeking Tips for Managing Anxiety and Mild Thinning at Crown

Hey everyone,
I’ve been experiencing mild hair fall for the past year or so. Recently visited a good dermatologist — she’s started me on a serum with Redensyl for 2 months, along with multivitamins and meds to fix my vitamin D3 deficiency. She said we’ll likely add minoxidil in my next visit.

Right now, I have two small thin spots on my crown that are only visible under bright light or from certain angles. Overall, my hair still looks full, just noticing some thinning.

What’s really bothering me though is the mental side — I feel anxious thinking about how I’d look if I lost more hair. It’s starting to affect my confidence, and I don’t want to keep spiraling about something that might happen.

I’d love some advice on how to deal with this positively — both mentally and practically. Things I can actually do daily to improve hair health and feel more in control, instead of just worrying.

Here’s a bit about my current lifestyle:

  • Don’t drink enough water (recently started fixing that)

  • Protein-deficient diet

  • Physically active (work out twice a week + play football once a week)

Would really appreciate any tips, routines, or mindset shifts that helped you in a similar phase. I’ve accepted that some things are up to fate, but I just want to do my part well.

Only finasteride/dutasteride can give you that feeling because it’s the only medications that stop hairloss
