Question about switching from oral to topical fin

Hey gang

I’m 24, my temples started to recede 2 years ago so I started 1mg fin orally + minox daily. This worked very well for 1.5 years, then I started to develop a bit of gyno. I have since stopped fin for 4 months and my gyno has mostly gone away, although I believe some of it might become permanent (only noticeable to me).

Now that I’m off fin, the hairline is receding at max speed and I’m considering whether or not to give topical fin a try in hopes of maintaining my hair or slowing down the loss while having a lower risk of gyno due to lower systemic circulation of fin.

Has anyone here gone through something similar of having sides, switching to topical and the sides not coming back?
Or do you guys think because I had sides on 1mg oral fin I’ll get them on topical as well anyway?
Do you have any other suggestions on what I could do to try and stop/slow my hair loss?

What do you guys think?

i am on dutasteride with no sides for 40 days. everybody is different, there are LOTS OF dutasteride horror stories on the internet, does not mean that it will happen to you too. or maybe it will, only 1 way to definitively know:try it yourself (under guidance and prescription of a doctor) yourself in low doses.
