Read about the topical finasteride that I had written above. It may save you with minimal risks involved, maybe small risks, maybe larger risks. Either way, consider/discuss it with a doctor. Topical fin goes systemic in high concentrations eg. %0.3 far more, for the same dose. But in smaller dose, this behavior seems to NOT be the case.
Thanks man,I alr started to read abt the sides of fin and how do diff nw levels look like, also started reading some stuff abt thyroid,bc I have some problems with it too and it might also effect hairloss, for now im a newbie in it,but I might gain more knowledge when Iâll read more abt it.
Alr,another small update,Idk why I havent read bout the disease, but I have (hashimoto) and it also can be a reason for hairloss (around the whole scalp mostly I think)
I havent been to dermatologist yet,but my mom asked me (when I was talking bout minox) she showed me on the screen and asked me if thats what im talking abt and that she can order me one,but do u have any recomendations abt which one is the best?
some ppl also reccomended me smt called RHU⌠(its some kind of safer DHT blocker, but idk how to get it)
Hi again Kuba. this is @baldbutnotbold speaking. Since I no longer have access nor want to use my old account (nor I want to use this forum anymore), I left this place some time ago and created this account solely to reply to old posts of mine. I am not going to hang out here for long with this account, but can provide feedback on the old posts if replies come in.
So anyways, if it is spelt like RHU the chances are those people are referring to RU58841. RU58841 has low systemic absorption per a study I had read back in the day however it is under no circumtstance safer. It above all is an abandoned research chemical. It does not target the root cause of balding which is DHT and instead targets androgen receptors. If it ever goes systemic it may cause various problems because it also would affect testosterone and deny it from binding to receptors eg. in heart. You may have serious issues with your heart in particular, which is super dangerous in my opinion. There are plenty of online stories (though anecdotal, so take with a grain of salt) mentioning ru58841 giving them problems in heart, very likely those people had experienced ru58841 going systemic. This is not to say that ru58841 does not work or always causes issues, it works for quite a bit of people but if it ever goes systemic (especially if you have scalp acne), you are not in for a good time, safe to say. Also it is NOT an FDA approved medication but instead an abandoned research chemical, which should make you think at least twice. I am 20 and yet I would not consider ru58841, it is a molecule that binds to where androgens (eg T or DHT) are supposed to bind.
If FDA approves breezula for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia, then you may have a topical anti-androgen to use (though first referring a doctor/telehealth as always), if not then I would not swim in those waters personally.
Well-known brands are better in general. Though minoxidil is a drug where I live, so cannot recommend anything.
You are losing hair in the norwood-hamilton pattern and mentioned that it is verified by a trichoscopy. Extremely unlikely.
You should seriously research low-dose topical finasteride and discuss it with a doctor. It may work for you with decreased risk of sides, I re-iterate. Donât wait, see a derm. Once you are done growing up, then finasteride or dutasteride, as always consider them under strict guidance of a doctor.
Also, as an additional cautionary, ru58841 is not obtainable from a pharmacy. I dare you to find a pharmacy where you can obtain it, you cannot in US. Nor in any other part of the world. Compounding pharmacies likely donât have the material nor even they are aware that it exists in the first place ![]()
You cannot get it for cheap in bulk from major chemical firms. You can contact relatively reliable chemical firms but they will likely charge you an arm and leg. You have to refer to what I would call shady sources, often in china or some other smaller chemical firms within US. If you donât have the ability to get it lab-tested for purity, my advice would be to not bother with it. RU58841 is not finasteride/dutasteride. If finasteride is âdangerousâ to adult men because it can give erectile dysfunction then ru58841 is like a literal nuke in danger profile. Now you are a teen, so prob. fin is not benign for you, but still ru58841 is not safe by any means. Heart problems are NO joke. If you are still hell-bent, never apply it to inflamed tissue and start as low as 1mg/ml, (%0.1) this is NOT to say that you should start low, donât start at all, but if you will and wonât listen to people who say otherwise then this is I would assume is safer than going raw-dog 50mg/ml (%5).
I formulated topical minoxidil myself and I wanna also clarify, if possible (if you are hell-bent on ru58841, which I think you should not all be), ethanol may increase systemic absorption. Topical minoxidilâs systemic absorption was increased via this route, same principle may apply for ru58841, though I donât know for sure and cannot definitively make a statement on the pharmacokinetics of ru58841.
You may obviously consider getting ru58841 prepared but again no guarantee on effectiveness or worse safety, it may contain dangerous impurities. I am not aware of kirkland/rogaine ru58841, all brands seem shady to my eyes. You have to do it yourself to be sure but if you want to go down that path, it means low safety. Chances are you donât know lab protocols nor have the equipment even if you know it. Modus operandi in lab setting requires a lot of practice, take this as somebody who formulated 5% topical minoxidil himself.
Do you have graduated cylinders for instance? Do you have lab-grade beakers? Do you have magnetic stirring equipment? Do you have nitrile gloves? Perhaps a fumehood/glovebox? Do you have an erlenmeyer? Do you have a large working area? How are you going to clean up a spill, tell me for instance? RU58841 is way, waay more dangerous than fin/dut could ever be yet you think it is safer? Check this datasheet.
If cross-contamination with finasteride (raw powder) occurs, it will cause birth defects on male fetuses of pregnant woman, if ru58841 is cross-contaminated then god knows what the hell would happen.
Steer away from ru58841.
update: If you mean ghk-cu , then keep in mind that anything that systematically blocks conversion of T to DHT will impair your development if you are still developing irrelevant of how it does that. But I have no idea whether ghk-cu blocks conversion of T to DHT, I have never had an interest in peptides.
Thanks man,one last thing, idk if ur going to come back to this site,or move on with life, but I wanted to thank you for your time explaining everything to me abt meds, hairloss, and other kind of doctors.
Idk ur still around on other apps like reddit, but I wanted to thank you for guiding me,Im gonna come back from time to time to read your older comments to see,if I forgot abt smt or not,I will prob do updates more either here or on reddit after I get on meds (which can either happen after the first visit or after couple of years).
Just wanted to thank u for ur time and explaining me every good and bad thint abt each thing.
Thanks a lot :).
Hi again Kuba. this is @baldbutnotbold speaking. Now I cannot prove it to you (but can prove it if demanded eg. due to legal reasons
)
I have 1 good and 1 bad news for you. I discovered something known as liposomal finasteride. Systemic absorption is lower but higher cost. Now I knew this thing had existed before but recently it came to my mind that you may discuss using this with a doctor. Why discuss, well because there is no data on how much of liposomal finasteride goes systemic but they reduce the systemic absorption (which you donât want) nevertheless and induce more deposition of the drug to scalp (which you want). This may allow you to use a more potent concentration with same/reduced risk of sides, perhaps?

BTW; if you are ever coming to Turkey in the future for a HT (which you may, given your norwood level, for a hair transplant and that the cost of hair transplant operations in US is insane),
Keep in mind that:
-1)There is no oral minoxidil available here, so beware.
-2) Topical Minoxidil/Tretinoin (for enhancing minoxidilâs absorption and efficacy)/Finasteride/Dutasteride/High concentration (2%) Ketoconazole all available here OTC. Oral minoxidil is not available unless you get it from a shady pharmacy in Istanbul. There may be another shady pharmacy but again I cannot name them if they exist, I cannot comment. Just donât rely on their (if they exist) claims. There is NO original oral minoxidil available here in Turkey.
-3) Dermatologists and GPs here are as informed as a duck on the matter of hair loss. Donât rely on them if possible, rely on dermatologists that seem to know their stuff, perhaps this is the case for US dermatologists.
-4) Be wise on hair transplants here. Avoid hair transplant companies or hospitals, work with individuals not with companies. Make sure the doctors perform the surgery rather than that of the nurses there.
If one day (when you are no longer a minor) end up getting on oral minoxidil and wondering to come to Turkey, some people may tell you that there exists a certain pharmacy in Istanbul that makes oral minoxidil pills, my advice would be to bring your medicine yourself and ignore them, I had obtained pills from them and while had no problems, they may give you a different IBAN number for payments for oral minoxidil and a different number for other compounding medicines that they prepare. This sends alarm bells ringing in my understanding of the common sense.
For legal reasons (being extra careful here): Well, since I mentioned that these pharmacies donât exist in real life, these pharmacies I mean, in roblox I mean. Yeah
. They have IBAN there in roblox, donât they?
.
I personally donât trust them, even though I used their pills for 2 months (had hypertension on oral minoxidil they prepared, but this is not specific to them rather it is that I just react strangely to oral minoxidil). For legal reasons I cannot name the pharmacy, but just be aware. It has a long name and the main person works there is a female, this is all I could say. You may or may not come across their mention in Reddit. Of course all in roblox.
Also, Turkey is a heaven of hair mills, so pick your doctors wisely if you are ever coming here for a hair transplant. There are various Turkish hair loss forums, you can find them with google translateâs help. Avoid hair transplantation companies or places where technicians perform the surgeries if possible. Get an experienced doctor do the procedure.
Propecia is about 20-30$, proscar is cheaper, dutasteride is even cheaper. FYI, just to give you a price range here.
One final note while I have time: Topical minoxidil here is also shady in my opinion. While topical minoxidil is available here OTC in pharmacies one is that it is crazy expensive and two it is I HAVE SERIOUS DOUBTS on whether they are being truthful on the amount of minoxidil they put inside or not. So if you are coming here in the future and your future self will be also using topical minoxidil, bear in mind to bring legit (eg: kirkland/rogaine) topical minoxidil from US if possible. Basically just bring minoxidil from US. For finasteride/dutasteride here, this may not be the case though.
This is all I have to say for todayâs session. Took me 23 minutes. Longest of mine it was I suppose.
@Kuba Have you checked the topical Pyrilutamide? You should consider this along with the low-dose topical finasteride that I had mentioned. It may save you, also it is available OTC in amazon as a cosmetic product even if a bit pricy but nevertheless consult a doctor given that you are under 18. Forgot to add, yes I am baldbutnotbold.
