I divide proscar tablets into 4-5 and then take them to supress DHT adequately until dutasteride that I take kicks in. I have been taking dutasteride 0.5mg (avodart) for a month and the finasteride (proscar 5mg divided to 4-5 pieces) for about 20 days. Keep in mind proscar’s active ingredient is finasteride so it is pretty much equivalent to taking propecia pills if divided correctly. My question is precisely that, am I doing it right? A non-divided, intact pill is placed to the center of the surface of the glass container that I use. I try to stay below the 2mg dose of finasteride per day, for context
