Thanks to this community I’ve finally started taking steps to prevent my gradual hair loss. I’ve been pretty lucky as my dad had lost most of his hair in his late-20s, early-30s, and at 31 mine is still holding up OK. Having a big forehead (and big overall head) makes my hairline look worse, but there has definitely significant loss overall. I can see my scalp a lot more which is what first concerned me, and led me here. My hairline is also a lot weaker, and it’s hard to style it. That’s all I want, a bit more strength and thickness to the existing hairs, any gains would be a bonus!
I’ve started taking fin 1mg daily, I’m on day 3 and haven’t noticed any immediate side effects - I’ll update the post if I do. I actually gave it a try in my early 20s, and wish l’d stuck to it, but no point dwelling on that now. I got myself worked up over sides that I never even had…definitely won’t be doing that this time round.
I’ll include a few pictures of my before - I know it’s impossible to know how well it will work for me, but if anyone with similar hair has had decent results, l’d love to hear about your progress.
